The fourth and final stage of the national phase of The World Corporate Golf Challenge (WCGC) took place in July at the Santo da Serra Golf Club, location of the prestigious European Islands Open on the European Tour.

A tournament marked by security, on the island of Madeira, which has managed so far to control the Covid-19 pandemic, and which involved 34 participating companies. The most important thing was the final result and knowing who would qualify for the National final, postponed to the Montado Hotel & Golf Resort, in Palmela, on August 29th. 

In Net, the Caju Le Petit Hotel team went to the National Final, with a total of 70 points. Norberto Henriques contributed 33 points and Ricardo Antão 37. The Caju Le Petit Hotel surpassed High Ventures (65 points) with Ana Bento (28) and Lino Bento (37), and Garofalo (64 points) with Bernardo Shorts (29) and Miguel Tavares Jr. (35).

In the Gross classification the team that will travel to Palmela will be that of Firts 4 You2, with 61 points, composed of two members of the aforementioned group of Flinstones: João Bernardo Gonçalves (27) and Pedro Araújo (34).

In the previous three stages, before the interruption in March, due to the pandemic, nine teams from Bom Sucesso Resort, nine others from the Estoril GC (Audi), and eight teams from Palmares Ocean had already reserved their place in Montado. Living & Golf (Turkish Airlines).
