It was a great month for Pedro Lencart. Again. The young golfer trained in Miramar was on the verge of becoming the winner of Internacional Amador de Portugal (he was runner-up), maintained his dominance in the main national circuit and still had time to go to Spain to add another good result in the SM El Cup Rey.
Lencart, who has playing for the Knights, in Orlando, United States, whenever returns to Portugal devastates the competition, showing that he is one of the best Portuguese players today and one of the firmest promises for the future.
In this edition we bring the reports of these tournaments. At Internacional Amador, the collective highlight for the Portuguese team, which always had players at the front.
On another level, a very positive note also for Vítor Lopes who with two victories dominated the month on the Portugal Pro Golf Tour, and for the Federation that presented a new national circuit destined to the Mid-Amateur class. It has everything to work out.
Good readings. Good golf.
It is an old story, which seems to return now (again) in force. We were in the 90s, when Greg Norman pushed the idea of an innovative world circuit, reserved only for the best among the best.
The PGA of America, Ryder Cup Europe and the PGA Tour jointly announced early july that both the Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup have been rescheduled and will now be played one year later than originally planned.
